The premium wine of the estate Aureus Prestige AOP la Clape

For our flagship wine, «Aureus Prestige», only the best is good enough.
This means we carry out two selection processes. Firstly, only grapes
from mature vines are used, which are rooted in the best sites, the so-called
«Coteaux». Secondly, for this blend of Syrah (80%), Grenache and Carignan,
we only use those three or four oak casks whose wines have matured best.
Aromas of red and dark berries, underpinned by precious spice and
herbal notes. Concentrated on the palate, with plenty of fruit,
fine-grained tannin and ripe acidity. Enduring.

Average age of the vines: 50 years
Maturation: 12 - 18 months in new French oak casks
Perfect with: Spicy Sisteron lamb, chateaubriand, saddle of hare,
mushroom ragout, mature raw milk cheese
Optimal drinking: Within eight years of the vintage
Alcohol content: 14,5% Vol.
Allergy information: contains sulphites
