CHAMPS ROUGE MAGNUM
A red cuvée, named after a specific vineyard plot and made from the southern French grape varieties Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan. Aromas of red berries and garrigue herbs plus a hint of leather, liquorice and brushwood as well as mineral notes. On the palate, it is light and lively with present tannins and refreshing, well-integrated acidity. A truly flatterering wine.
Average age of the vines: 30 years
Maturation: In stainless steel vats and and partially in oak casks
Perfect with: Cassoulet and other hearty stews, grilled meats, pasta dishes
Optimal drinking: Within four years of the vintage
